3 Day Uganda budget tour is a safari that will take you to most visited national park in western Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park to explore the beauty and its hidden treasures. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest national park in Uganda giving you a sight of endless savanna plains decorated with different wildlife such as buffaloes, tree climbing lions, kobs, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, to mention but a few. The park is gifted with different crater lakes, scenic view point such as Queen’s pavilion among others.
Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth
After a scrumptious breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from the hotel or from the agreed meeting point, he will brief you about the safari and later you will head to southwestern Uganda where you will drive for about 5hours, with several stopovers for lunch and scenic views. You will engage in the Equator experience in Kayabwe, take pictures while you are standing in different hemispheres of the world, interact with the locals and then proceed with your journey. Lunch will be served in Mbarara, and then embark on your journey of memories, arriving in the park in evening, connect to your accommodation, check-in, enjoy dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
Arise in the morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to the open grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The first welcome note will herds of elephants, buffaloes, kobs and followed by lion prides, hyenas, bushbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes will be seen moving on ground. You will capture every moment in the jungle, enjoy seeing different bird species that you have not seen, you will spend most of your time in the jungle, enjoy a picnic lunch and then proceed exploring the park. You will later head to Kazinga channel where you will engage in boat cruise to explore the beauty of this extensive stretch of water that brings Lake Edward from Democratic Republic of Congo to Lake George in Uganda together, providing magical view of the animals on the shores, cool breezes and nice sunsets. Kazinga Channel launch cruise is one of the best water activities in Uganda and East Africa as well. You will retire to accommodation in the late evening for lunch and overnight.
Day 3: Game drive in Ishasha and departure
This is another eventful day for you, where you will rise in the early morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and head to Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth and this is where you will find tree climbing lions, you will also spot buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, among other wildlife species. You will embark on your journey to Kampala, you will have an en-route Igongo cultural center where you will visit the museum that portrays Ankole culture, enjoy your lunch in Mbarara and proceed as you end your journey.
