Day 1: Fly to Kibale Forest National and track chimpanzee
On this day, our driver guide will pick you from the hotel or at the Airport, brief you about your safari and then escort you to where you will board a charter to Kibale, and our driver guide will be waiting to receive you, and then transfer you to Kanyanchu where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, head to the thick forests with a ranger guide who will help you to locate chimpanzees, spend an hour with them then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will enjoy a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp which is a haven to birds including the endangered shoebill stork. This wetland is a home to other wildlife such as sitatungas, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, white checked mangabey, baboons, bush-hogs among others. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and fly to Entebbe
On this day, you will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, check-out and fly to Bwindi to track mountain gorillas. Our team representative will be waiting to receive you in Kisoro to transfer you to the park headquarters to be briefed about gorilla trekking and then head to the jungle with a guide who will lead you to the gorilla family. After meeting these beautiful primates, return to the park headquarters to receive your tracking certificate, proceed to the park the lodge for lunch and thereafter, fly to Entebbe where you will spend an overnight to catch an early flight to Nairobi.
Day 3: Fly to Nairobi and transfer to Masai Mara
Arise in the morning to catch a flight to Nairobi, where you will be welcomed by our company representative who will receive you and immediately transfer you to Masai Mara. You will arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve in the afternoon hours, check-in the lodge, have lunch and then go for an evening game drive to spot some wildlife till late in the evening and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Whole day explore Masai Mara
Arise in the morning, have your breakfast, get your lunch packed and head to the endless plains of Masai Mara which are packed with wildlife. You will head direct to Mara River where wildebeest migration takes place. This is where wildebeests cross from Tanzania’s Serengeti River Grumeti to northwards through Mara River entering the expanse greenish-brown plains of Masai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy seeing how wildebeests cross to Kenya as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas are taking cover to grab a kill. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the animal view point near the River, you will visit different kopjes, take pictures as sun sets, return to the lodge in the late evening and spend your night.
Day 5: Game drive and departure
Arise in the morning, have your breakfast packed, check-out and go for a game drive to spot some animals that you will have missed in the previous game drive. You will enjoy the sunrise as it overshadows the plains of Mara. You will be welcomed by herds of wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, rhinos, impalas, oribis, among other species. You will later bid a farewell to Masai Mara and head to Nairobi, enjoy your lunch, then depending on your flight time, the driver guide will either drop you at the hotel or at the Airport.
