Overview
Spend 9 Days and 8 Nights discovering the beautiful primates and wildlife in the most visited national parks of East Africa as you visit Volcanoes National Park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda, Lake Nakuru National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania. Take part in game drives as you will spot the big five, enjoy great stopover at the rift Valley viewing point as you head to Lake Nakuru National Park. There will be a short Kigali city tour where places like the local markets like Kimironko, Kigali genocide memorial center, art and craft centers and more.
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and City Tour
You will be picked from the airport by our Safari and take a short city tour where you will visit places like the genocide memorial grounds, local market like Kimironko market, the art and gallery center, and many more others. Head to the hotel on this day for your first night.
Day 2: Head to Volcanoes National Park via the twin lakes
Leave Kigali and head to Volcanoes national park passing via the twin Lake of Burera and Ruhondo. Take a canoeing adventure on this day where you will enjoy the calm waters of these lakes, bird will be flying in the air as the Volcano mountains that is Mt Muhabura and Sabinyo will be in the background. Volcanoes national park is one of the oldest national park in Africa known for the Dian Fossey a female researcher primatologist who saved a good number of gorillas from poachers.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking adventure
Breakfast will be served at the lodge which will be followed by a short drive to the park offices for briefing about this amazing tour to the gorillas. The rules and regulations, materials you need to have, crosschecking of gorilla trekking permits and many more. Begin the search in a group of 8 trekkers together with porters and park guide ranger as you will be spotting other attractions like the birds, plant species, beautiful scenery covered with water falls and mountains and many more. Spend an hour with the gorillas taking and recording memories. Be offered with a certificate of trekking after returning to the park office.
Day 4: Drive to Kigali and fly to Nairobi Kenya
Leave Volcanoes national park in the morning after delicious buffet breakfast and head to Kigali. On arrival, be dropped at the airport to catchup with your flight to Nairobi Kenya. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the driver guide of our company who will take you through briefing about the remaining days in Kenya and Tanzania. Be taken to the booked hotel in Nairobi and to be the end of this day on your 9 Days gorillas in Rwanda, Nakuru, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
Leave Nairobi and head to Lake Nakuru national park a home to over 100 of rhinos, over 400 bird species including the flamingoes that turn the ground reddish brown. Other attractions in the park are the lions, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs and many more others. Arrive and take an evening game drive where you will watch over different mammals and birdlife. Head to the lodge booked and this will be the end of the day.
Day 6: Cross to Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Leave Lake Nakuru national park in the morning With breakfast and pass through Masai Mara national reserve a journey that will last for about 8 hours. You will encounter different wildlife on the way, pass through the immigration process and many more. Arrive and be welcomed at the lodge with a glass of juice.
Day 7: Full day game drive in Serengeti
Have the best and memorable time as you take a full day exploring the best of Serengeti through a full day game drive. Meet predators and herbivores in full swing such as lions, elephants, buffalos, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, gazelles, elands, topi, giraffes, wildebeest and many more others. Enjoy bush breakfast, picnic lunch and the best of sundowners as you head back to the lodge. The wildebeest will be migrating in large numbers together with zebras.
Day 8: Head to Ngorongoro conservation area
Have morning breakfast at the lodge which will be followed by a transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area a unique Tourist destination which will offer you a chance to spot the only intact volcanic caldera in the world, beautiful sceneries, unique wild animals and many more others. Animals that are always roaming in this park are rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos birds like European Swallow, European Bee Eater, the Northern Wheatear and many more others. Spend time on the game drive ant this will create everlasting memories.
Day 9: Transfer to Arusha and fly home
Have another game drive in the Ngorongoro craters to make a farewell to the African wildlife and later on, embark on a journey to Arusha. Have lunch which will be followed by a drop-off at the airport to fly back home and this marks the end of the tour.
