2 days Uganda short gorilla safaris is an amazing safari designed for travelers who have limited time but are interested in gorilla trekking exercise. This 2 days Uganda gorilla safari will take you Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in the southwestern Uganda and it is famous for hosting the celebrated mountain gorillas. Bwindi is famous for having the largest number of mountain gorillas and the park is bestowed with 4 gorilla sectors which are Buhoma gorilla sector, Nkuringo gorilla sector, Rushaga gorilla sector and Ruhija gorilla sector, all these sectors have gorillas ready for trekking. The safari can be tailor made either you connect to Rwanda to see the beautiful wildlife or continue exploring the beauty of Uganda.

Day 1: Pick-up and fly to Bwindi

Depending on the agreed meeting point, our driver guide will pick you, brief you about your 2 days Uganda short gorilla safari, he will thereafter transfer you to the Airfield where you will board a domestic flight to Kihihi in Kanungu district, you will fly for about 2hours, arrive in Kihihi and our company representative will be ready to receive you, he will drive you to your lodge accommodation, check-in, have a hot lunch, freshen up and in the evening you will visit Batwa community. These are also known as forest masters, they have lived in the forest since time immemorial, they will entertain you through songs, dances, they will tell you a lot of stories. Batwa are very good at making crafts and you can support them by buying a souvenir, they sell these items to take their children to school, to get food, medication among others. You will retire to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and fly back to Kampala

You will wake up on a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking etiquettes, you will be assigned a gorilla family to track, you will head to the off beaten paths in the thick forests, you will be with a ranger guide who will help you to locate the gorillas, you will spend an hour with the gorillas, meet them, take pictures and videos, enjoy the back ground melodies of birds chirping in the tree brunches, Bwindi is also famous for hosting birds including the Albertine rift endemics. After spending an hour with gorillas, return to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking certificate, proceed to the lodge to freshen up, grab a snack and be transferred to Kihihi airfield for a flight back to Entebbe.
